  • The Employment Appeal Tribunal ruled that a discrimination case needed to be reconsidered by a fresh Employment Tribunal after an Employment Judge fell asleep twice during the original hearing.
  • Maternity Action and the TUC have produced a useful guide to health and safety at work for pregnant women.
  • The Government Equalities Office has indicated that the GEO is considering extending gender pay gap reporting, including proposals to lower the threshold from the current 250+ employees.
